Installation & Hardware Pairing Workflow
Download Player Package
Download the latest FairAds Player installer for your OS platform from Manage > Inventory > Hardware Downloads in your partner portal.
Install & Launch App
Install the app on your media player hardware. Upon launching, the application auto-generates a unique 6-digit pairing code and displays it on-screen:

- In your Partner Portal, navigate to Manage > Inventory.
- Select your registered screen unit or click Pair New Player.
- Input the 6-digit code (
FA-8942) and click Pair Player. - The media player instantly receives authentication tokens and begins downloading the active ad loop.
CMS API & Third-Party Integration (Optional)
If your network uses a third-party CMS (e.g. Navori, Scala, Broadsign):
- Enable CMS API Sync (
supportsCmsApi) in Step 4 of the Screen Registration Wizard. - Use the Partner REST API to push playback logs and fetch assigned schedules programmatically.
Network & Offline Behavior
FairAds Media Player is designed for high reliability and offline resilience:
- Local Storage Caching: Ad creatives, video assets, and schedule matrices are downloaded and cached locally on player storage.
- Uninterrupted Offline Playback: If network connectivity is lost, the player continues looping cached ad content without interruption.
- Automated Re-sync: Play logs, impression metrics, and Proof of Performance (POP) batches sync automatically once internet connection is restored.
